This enemy only appears in the Elona+ version of Elona. A grotesque looking thing with a unique sprite, and one of the three forms of meshera. It is part of the Elona+ exclusive Bacteria race.

It has the Touch of Weakness special action and casts Mist of Silence and Slow. Most notable is its massive healing skill and life pool. It prefers melee combat. Sometimes when it attacks, it says "Please...kill me..."

It has superb resistance to all but raw magic. Eating its corpse results in parasite infection ('pregnant') unless you have protection.

In earlier versions with the default non-Unicode font, the name for this monster will showed up as Meshera fA', when it attempted to show it's name as meshera δ.

Miscellaneous

Wishing

It is not possible to get a card of meshera delta by wishing due to the previous name's Unicode display problem. Wishing for the new name gives a card or statue of @, and wishing for meshera gives a card of meshera beta.
