It acts as a potion that fully restores stamina at the cost of the drinker being temporarily muddled (dimmed), and in the case of the player rendered momentarily unconscious. The unconsciousness lasts only a small number of turns, making it possibly useful in a pinch when under the ''tired'' or ''VERY tired'' status effects.
