|<Gwen> the pitiless|
|Level 100 Female Roran Warmage|
Healing: 69 (1%)
Long Sword: 116 (2%)
The years have not been kind to <Gwen>, and she has become much more serious as a result. She no longer follows the player around Yowyn, instead standing on a spot near the well in the center of the town. She also stays quiet unless attacked.
She is a lot more powerful than most NPCs in North Tyris, barring the Chaos Fort bosses. In combat, she attacks from melee, and can use the Insult special action and cast Slow and Mist of Frailness. She's something of an upgraded Silver eyed witch.
She sometimes drops the Secret treasure of the saint upon death. Additionally, every 2 hours of game-time her level is incremented by her total number of deaths (only those after her transition into "the pitiless"), resulting in gains to stats, speed and skills; this means that even killing her once results in a continuous level gain, so be careful.
She can be copied with an Astral Light Pen if the conditions are met. Her copy doesn't retain the ability to level up automatically or any additional levels or stats the original <Gwen> may have gained after respawn, but any of said levels are figured into the Astral Pen calculation.
<Gwen> the pitiless cannot be evolved.
Curiously enough, if <Gwen> the innocent is copied and evolved with an <evolution heart>, this evolution uses the same sprite as her "pitiless" counterpart, but lacks any of said counterpart's spells and special actions.

- As before, she's a direct reference to Gwen, a character from the Guild Wars series. Specifically, she's a reference to the stoic, vengeful post-Searing Gwen.
- If copied with an Astral Pen, her copy will retain the original's tendency to remain still on a single tile if left to stay in Your Home, the Ranch, the Doujou or the Discarded ranch.
