Cockatrice appears in the Elona+ version of Elona. A stronger, 2nd tier version of a Chicken.

In combat, it much more dangerous then the average chicken. It can cast Nerve Arrow and can use the Eye of Stiffen special action. When it uses its Eye of Stiffen on target, it will also display "Body of (target's name) was stiff like a stone." message. It maintains a good distance out of melee in order to attack.

Evolution

Cockatrices cannot be evolved.
