Dragon zombie only appears in Elona+. The undead version of dragons.

It bellows Darkness and Poison breath while closing in to melee, and can use the Curse special action as well as Death Word to give you a death verdict. Despite being higher level then the original living dragons, it is more fragile and statistically weaker.

It is weak to fire and has no resist to magic. As a NPC, it has superb resists to all other elements. As a pet, it will retain superb resistance only to Darkness, Nerve, and Nether. Note that dragon zombie corpses are rotten by default.

As a pet it has potential, especially if you evolve it. A newly caught Dragon Zombie can reliably curse <Anubis> the master of death and death word him, ironically enough. It'll need a significant level of gene engineering to work with, but if you've caught one you probably have the means to make it powerful one way or another. The tendency to curse items can be a bit annoying but it's a very good offensive pet overall.

Evolution

The dragon zombie can be evolved into a Black Dragon using a <magic heart>, gaining 20 perception, 20 life, 10 speed, and <Corgon> the steel dragon's sprite.
