Constitution improves HP and increases your weight limit by 1 for each 4 constitution you have. It also influences your maximum stamina.
A trick to raising constitution is to take healing and mining. Healing automatically increases as you get hurt and from dreams, and mining is very easy to train by just digging the walls around town.
And a good way to raise the constitution's stat potential is to breed horses with a Ranch. Horses can be brought from Yowyn and they have a high breeding power.
